And we’re back… for now!

Sorry about the delay in posting here, for some reason I’ve not been able to load the website to write posts, but it seems to be working today so I’ll risk it. (Can’t promise it won’t go down again!)

All Change at St Francis School – Yr 6 at St Francis School has a new teacher, Kathy Hadley, who with Mr Scrimshire will be guiding the young people through this challenging year ahead. I will be working once again to support the staff and pupils especially with regard to transition.

I will also be doing some group work called Ideas for Life which aims to help young people tackle difficulties they may come up against this year.

Breathe – Another great Breathe contemporary youth retreat was had this year and we welcomed young people from the Midlands and the North East. There was go-karting, fencing, walking, mountain-biking as well as a focus on contemplative spirituality and prayer.

In the coming year we are hoping to have Fr Christopher Jamieson to lead a day retreat for disadvantaged young People.

T.R.U.S.T. – An important project has started at All Saints, Kings Heath aimed at supporting parents who have young people with mental health problems. The meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month: 9th October, 13th November and 11th December 2013.

If you want to know any more information then please speak to me.

Confirmations – Preparation resumes on 6th October at 4.30pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
