Youth Round-up: Feb 2012
New Baby – Our son, Andrea Gregory, was born on Thursday 12th January. After a tiring stop/start labour he appeared two weeks overdue and was born at home. Joanne, myself and our whole family would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support, prayerful encouragement and congratulations over the past few weeks! In case you're wondering, he is named after his great, great grandfather.
FAITH & FAITHFUL – Our youth groups started back on 8th January and have been meeting as normal for fun, faith and friendship. I'm very grateful to Heather, Frances, Mandy, Michelle, Alison and Susannah for their hard work during my paternity leave. If you've not been to these groups before and would like to try them out then please get in touch or speak to me at church.
Bournville Film School 2012 – The 25th January saw the start of the this new venture which aims to bring together young people from local schools on Wednesday nights to learn film, drama, music and writing skills in order to produce a youth-made film. This is very exciting, and I visited three local schools to publicise it - the response has been fantastic. Please watch this space for further updates!
